If you’re looking for an excellent 1968 Mustang Fastback, tribute to the original Steve McQueen Bullitt, look no further! The current owner spent thousands of dollars making this car what it is today. You’re buying in at a great value with the opportunity to finish the project and make it your own!

The exterior paint is approximately 2 years old, shows well with only minor imperfections noted. The body appears to be rust free and given the factory date stamps in the fenders, quarters and rockers - all are believed to be original. The paint meter readings are all consistent. The current owner installed American Racing Torq-Thrust D’s with Cooper Tires. The chrome bumpers are in very nice condition and show well.

The interior has upgraded front bucket seats and an upgraded stereo/ speaker system. The original dash, carpet, headliner and center console remain. Door panels are in excellent shape. The upgraded seats (front and rear) are finished in tan and show only minor wear. The dash and gauges are very nice, center console/ carpet could use cleaning or upgrading at the next owner’s discretion.

The engine sounds great and is fun to drive! The car sports a new (approx. 2 years old) Blue Print 302ci crate motor, automatic transmission and believed to be the stock rear end. The car also has dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers. The owner notes, the car will need a tune up from sitting this season. The car has a Moroso HEI Distributor, Summit Racing Power Steering setup, and a Holley Carburetor. It also has Air Conditioning though the owner notes it needs to be charged.

The following work was performed under the current owner direction:

Installed Blue Print 302ci Ford Small Block Crate Motor with serpentine pulley system

Front suspension rebuild needed at time of engine install

3.Complete paint job as Tribute to Bullitt and upgraded interior

Installed Sony/ Pioneer Sound System with Blue Tooth Radio

5. Upgraded brakes to four-wheel disc

This car has ~1768 miles (TMU) and a clean New York State title.

Overall this is an excellent driver that you could easily bring to the next level! The car does show wear and imperfections throughout and is considered a running driver or project.

The owner discloses:

Speedometer shows inaccurate MPH, Steering/ Suspension/ Alignment may need adjustment, Rear Differential/ Transmission whine at high RPM, Horns work but are soft. A general review by a mechanic is likely warranted. The car is sold as is, where is, with no warranty's expressed or implied.
