Running Condition

The 280C has its original & desired 2.8L 6cyl motor that runs and drives great with I would recommend giving the car a complete tuneup to get it running just perfect there are No known leaks. The car does not overheat, does not smoke or make any funny noise. The transmission shifts through all gears just like it should. The drivetrain does not leak or burn any oil.

This is a good candidate for a daily driver once thoroughly gone through.

Paint & Body

The body is in excellent condition, never being in any accidents. Therefore, the car still has all of its original body panels. There is no rust anywhere on this car. besides the one spot that I have pointed out on the front lower portion of driver side fender The size of a quarter The body is super straight, no major dents, dings or major scratches & shines very well with no clear coat peeling or discoloration anywhere. I’m sure this car won’t disappoint the most discriminating buyer.

Interior & Electrical

The upholstery is in remarkably clean condition as to almost be expected from Mercedes. The wood paneling is in good condition. The dashboard has no cracks. Door panels are nice and solid, and the headliner does not sag. The carpet and floors are in excellent condition. The original backer radio is gone. The sunroof, windows, lights, and all electrical components work as they should.

Glass & Chrome

All of the glass appears to be in good condition with no cracks. The chrome looks great.It is missing the Mercedes front hood ornament

Trunk & Undercarriage

As you will notice in photos, it will need a new hood insulation pad As the original one is worn out, you can pick up one for about 100 bucks All of the undercarriage on this car is perfect and original. There is no rust anywhere, no patchwork or repair work that has been done on the underside or trunk compartment of this car. The trunk compartment is rust free. There is no aftermarket undercoating on the underside or in the trunk compartment. This is a very solid car.
