Description:

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

1957 Chevrolet 2 door hardtop "Sport Coupe"The body appears to have all the original panels, with no patches or bodywork and is nice and straight. The floor pans and mounts are all original with the factory undercoating still on them. The forward part of the rocker panelsmay have been replaced years ago when the car had it's one repaint. The one repaint was done a decade or more ago and is still very glossy and smooth. There are no rust bubbles or blisters. The doors, trunklid and hood all open and close very nice. All the windows roll up and down with no issues and the glass is exellent. The paint being a decade or more old, has a few minor chips and scratches, but is still an 8+ out of 10.The interior appears to be all original with possible exception of the carpet being replaced at some point. The headliner is excellent.Tha seats and door panels are very good original with some fade on the tops of seats and one seam stitching on drivers seat back is detaching.Overall the interior is very servicable. All of the rubber seals are soft and functioning as they should. No leaks noted when car is washed. All the exterior trim and chrome is very nice and complete. The headlights, taillamps, turnsignals and brakelights work as they should as do the wipers. The fuel gauge and aftermarket radio are the only items not working. The engine is a later model 350 that appears to have been rebuilt, starts very easy and idles nicesThe transmission is a three speed on the column that shifts smooth and easy with the clutch operating smoothly. The drum brakes and power steering work good, as they did in 1950's. The tires are older and the driving would benefit with new tires.Overall the car drives nice and will cruise at highway speeds with no problems. Just drove it over a 130 miles nonstop with no issues.Though it is a northeastern car, you would not know it on inspection, there isn't and never was any rot. One of the nicer 57's on the road. Will be sold with maine registration and bill of saleI will help with arranging shipping worldwide and loading the car on transport or flyin and drive it home.https://youtu.be/hj2r4PvsT9M?feature=shared
