Familyowned sincedecade's1976VW Westfalia Camper BusBeing Listed On A 7 Day Auction | Being Sold At No ReserveOwned between two brothers since the late 80's this bus has resided in California areathroughoutmost of its life & still retaining it's original CA blue & yellow plates. Has it's original fuelinjection engine &manual transmission.Bus was parked in 2016 from owner's age. In late 2023 Iacquired the Bus from the owner & went through the normal procedures to getting it running again including - Draining out the gas tank, new fuel pump &filter, replaced some gas lines, new points, new spark plugs, oil change & filter, replaced battery & added new gas. Busstarted up & engine sounds good,I driven it just alittle bit as it runs & drive's, but recently the brakes started to make noise mymechanic suggested its therotors that will need to be done.Since italsohasn't been on the road for some time there's a few more thing's to be done to it before using it as a driver .. As mentioned some brake work (VW but does currently brakes) starter will need to be replaced eventually (sometimes takes a few cranks), hoses, & whatever else you wouldthink a Bus would need after not being driven for period of time .. Again it runs &drives but theres a little bit of work left to be done. Tires where replaced in recent years & are in good shape.Factory color was L-90D Pastel White with one olderrepaint done in the early 90's. Body panelslook to be original & most of the important areasappear to be in good shape as roof rain gutters & picking up the front rubber floor mat, floors look good. Looking around the bus theres some areasyou'll notice some rust / bubbles & surface rust.Interior is original & in good shape for its age, front rubber mat & front kick panels are newer. Hubcaps are newer as well. As mentioned paint is older there's some paint spot touch ups, chips & ect..It's a great bus ready to be restored!Factory CamperKombi Bus which this one is considered to be the tin-top model (non pop up camper) Has all original vin stamps, tags, vin stickers & original M plate all still in place that match a Clean CA Title.
