1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop project that has had a lot of the hard stuff already done but needs finishing. Remember all the Christmas toys that said "Some assembly required." This is a solid example of the desirable 1956 Bel Air 2 door hardtop. Some of the items completed include: Complete new floor in passenger area. New inner and outer rocker panels. See pictures of underside. Other Quarter Panels metal repaired as required. Trunk area has no issues. New Power Steering Unit. New gas tank. New Fuel lines. New Brake lines. Chrome Power brake booster, Front Power Disk Brakes. New Bucket Seat Upholstery, New Door Panels, Sun Visors. New Paint in 2022. New DAKOTA Digital instrument cluster. Includes "running when removed" 350 ci with 700R4 automatic transmission. Old school Mag wheels need polishing. Believe most/all exterior trim is present. Has good windshield and back glass. Needs: Bumpers, Grille, Tail lights, Side glass, Steering column & wheel, Carpet, headliner and things I have not thought of. Hood needs some minor repair. This will make a super nice driver when completed. I thought I had one more build left in me but i was wrong. I am 78 years old and just need to enjoy driving one. Will consider trading toward a completed tri-five 2 door sedan or 2 door hardtop.
