Listing for a 7 day no reserve auction. Please bid with the intention of buying.1972 Ford Econoline e200 short wheel base van. 5.0L V8 automatic. It's got some great things going for it. Firstly the short wheel base is the most desirable model among these classic vans, and the V8 was another rare option. It runs and drives and will get from A to B. It’s got an awesome vintage hot rod look to it. I have a video linked below where you can see me driving it 50 mph. You'll notice some hesitation on higher acceleration, I would recommend a rebuild or replace of the carburetor to fix this issue. It would also benefit from a tune-up like most unrestored vehicles from the 70's. But other than that the van starts right up. Doesn’t smoke or leak. Lights, turn signals, wipers all work. All the glass is good. So I'd call it a minor fixer-upper. The body it pretty straight although I can tell there was some body work and paint done to it previously. Paint has good life to it but wasn't an excellent job. Inside it does have the diamond liner all the way around and the chairs are reupulstered and look great.
