Description:

1967 Chevrolet Camaro

1st picture is coming out of 40 year storage. Yes, I know they are 1968-1969 louvers in hood. Please red full description. Seeing if any interest in my 40 year storage 1967 Camaro RS. I was told it was an RS SS but never verified that.It does seem to show a 350 code which SS had. I believe in my opinion it is but will not lie and say positive on that. Has SS hood but with 1968-1969 louvers. Guys did change them because they really are a hell of a lot nicer then the 1967 flat black. Has a 4 Speed Muncy Transmission. Story - I put brand new GM factory quarter panels on this car along with GM factory outer wheel house wells before storage about 40 years ago. Car is the most solid survivor I've seen lately for unfinished. Floors pans are in amazing condition. One hole maybe the size of a half dollar under rear seat above rail. Do not see from bottom. Trunk floor is in very solid condition with those tiny pinholes and a few small fixes (really nothing, not worth changing). I did fill them from bottom with all metal (amazing stuff) and then quality undercoated before putting in brand new gas tank with sending unit. The tank has the best I use rubberized coating. I believe the trunk can be finished off nicely and easily instead of chopping this cream puff up. Okay, now all the new and beginning of this year 2023 was 1st ride down the road since garaged 40 years ago.Brand new organic McLeod clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Flywheel turned as you can see. Small amount of clutch chatter which should go away after break in. If not I do have a 60 dollar adjustable fork pivot ball and another brand new throw out bearing fork which are included. Brand new Hooker Headers with Magnaflow Mufflers and 3 inch tailpipes. Tailpipes were hard to fit, one is tapped in by rear to avoid bumping which hurts nothing (so close to 1/4 panel and leaf but look awesome. I feel others might rather the 2 1/2 inch tailpipes so I will give a new set if sold. I like the 3 inch look. Brand new Carter Fuel Pump, brand new Water Pump, brand new Brake Master Cylinder along with all new Brake Lines,Wheel Cylinders and Brake Shoes on every corner. New front Drum Seals and bearings repacked. New Tune up and oil change. Rear completely cleaned. Brand new Multi Leaf Spring Kit and new AC Delco Shocks on all corners. Brand new Front Sway Bar Links. Car runs and sounds really strong. Has the really nice Rally Wheels and BF Goodrich Tires. All the hard work is done. Needs tinkering now. The tachometer is not working or the hideaway headlight. The normal like contact switches or unused motors seize (been there). All lights working except reverse, never had a switch on transmission. If Buy it Now is used I will include Genuine GM Wheel Well Chrome Trim and an Deluxe Factory Black with White Stripe RS seat set (complete seats, not covers >mint). May sell Genuine parts and Deluxe interior if Buy it Now is not used (not sure and won't be cheap). Interior needs finishing, headliner hanging, back sill panel, have door panels (may want better). Pretty sure I have windshield and rear window chrome trim but don't hold me to that please. Window adjustments which is another small thing. Just mentioning everything so bidders have confidence. All and all probably the most solid easy finish1967 Camaro out there. Can say body is 95% done, probably low balling %. OH, last thing is I could never figure out. Radiator support looked like center was removed and put back in. Only thing I would think is removing maybe motor and transmission together. Stumper for me? I am describing this Beautiful Survivor the very best I can and mention everything I can because I do not like disappointing surprises and surely do not give them.
