Description:
1974 MG MGB
Original car in good driving condition. Great as fun driver or candidate for restoration. Original motor and transmission. Car is "blaze red". We call it orange, but Brits claim orange is only a fruit. Early 1974, last year for the chrome bumpers before they went to rubber bumpers. I've owned this car for 4 years and bought it from a long time owner who drive it as a daily driver. In the time I've owned it, I've: - replaced the wiring harness with an after market Advanced Auto Wire harness - swapped out the stock alternator for a GM alternator for more electrical power - installed a Retrosound stereo with bluetooth and USB, JBL door speakers and a Sound Ordanance amp in the trunk - it's ready for two rear speakers or a subwoofer - installed all new carpet, sound/heat mats - new dash (original gauges) - maintained the car with oil changes and fixed leaks and other annoying issues, making the car pretty reliable The car is fun to drive and gets a lot of attention on the road. It needs a little TLC. Body is in great shape. It was repainted at some point and has some minor blemishes on the left rear and right front fenders. No rust that I can tell and I've been all over the car. Top is in very good shape. I have extra parts that come with the car. Original alternator and mounts, brand new brake rotors and pads from Moss Motors - still in the box. Manuals - electrical manual and Haynes manual. Wiring diagrams for the harness. Love the car, just can't spend the time to enjoy it and it deserves a great home as a classic car.
