1966 Mercury Monterey Sedan with only 66,918 actual miles. Always a Southern California car, always garaged. No accidents, no rust, no smoking, ever. A beautiful example of a full sized American sedan from the post-fins era, with gorgeous clean lines. Only 3 owners here in the greater Los Angeles area since new. Equipped with the 1966-ONLY 410 Cubic Inch 4V "MARAUDER" engine, which generates 330 horsepower, mated to a C-6 Automatic Transmission. This car is bone stock other than a CD player hidden in the glove compartment, and never altered. The power delivery is VERY smooth, and the motor runs tight and right, with no smoke or clatter even at a cold start. The smoothness of the drive is amazing, and it feels almost like a modern fuel injected motor. Interior is excellent, with easy seating for 6 people. Frame rails, all panels, and floor pans are laser-straight and rock solid, with no rust or corrosion whatsoever. Car has been painted once in two stage Dupont CRONAR paint in June of 1995. Looks very nice overall, with only a couple very minor flaws. Tires are newer P215 75r15s all around, and brakes have just been done. All glass and chrome are original and very presentable. ALSO comes with fender skirts!! The go on and off very easily (see last photo).
