Mercury Other . Condition is Used. One off mild kustomI have owned for 24 yearsTurn key drive anywhere.I started off with a rust free California car.On the cover of Ol Skool Rodz with a full article. Been pictured in 27 magazines.Good-Guys winner.I shaved the emblems. Nosed and decked it. Has a hidden trunk release.I welded up all the seams for a one piece body.I shaved the bumper bolts to smooth the bumpers. Had them rechromed.Very straight body.All the side trim stainless was straightned and repollished. Door handles have been rechromed.I painted the car with Dupont Chroma Base Montero Red with white scallops burried in Dupont Chroma Clear Coat.It was painted in 2007. Still looks fresh but there has been some small rock chips touched up. This car is a driver so you can expect that.Interior has won multiple best interior awards. It is done in a bright white with 2" pleat wth red pipeing. It is very nice lookin but does have a couple small flaws from use over the years.I drive the car so I never made the engine compartment a show piece.I installed a 351W with a C6 for ease of parts and depedabillity. Runs and drives great. Motor was completly rebuilt in 2004. Has about 40K miles on motor. Transmission was rebuilt about 6 years ago. I'm running a Holley Street Avenger carb on it. Carb could use rebuilding do to a dead spot when when accelerating but does not affect the cars depedabillity. I have the rebuild kit for it.Custom built 4 core radiator about 5 years ago.Front and back Suspension was completely rebuilt 3 years ago.Brake system was completely rebuilt last year. New wheel bearings up front and axle seals at that time also.Power brake booster was rebuilt about 6 years ago.Tires are 3 years old. Diamond Back Classic Radials. Aprox 10K miles on them.Car has power steering.Power brakes.It was a heater delete car but I did install a aftermarket heater system that will blow you out of the car.Never any floor pan or trunk pan rust ever.I have driven this car on several long road trips without any issues. Two of those trips were over 2000 miles each.All head light. Taillights. Turn signals and brake lights work good.The only things the car coukd use but doesn't affect it is it needs a new speedo cable. The dash lights dont work for some reason. The blinker lights do work though.Wiper motor needs replaced. I have always ran without wiper with chrome bullets where the wipers go.Car is for sale locally so I can end auction at any time.
