Up for auction is a beautiful all original 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible with only 67,3912 owner miles. Vehicle was always kept in a climate controlled garage and never driven in winter months. Vehicle was purchased at Fred Jones Lincoln Mercury of Oklahoma City for the sum of $4,316.77 and2nd owner purchasedit in 1988.

Vehicle is equipped with a 351 2 barrel Cleveland engine with an automatic transmission, XR-7 option, leather seats, factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tachometer, gauge package, white power top, am/fm radio, sport console with clock, protective bodyside molding, appearance protection group, dual racing mirrors, tinted glass styled steel wheels and Gold Metallic Glamourpaint for and extra cost of $29.46.

The original paint is in excellent condition with a brilliant luster. The body panels are straight and rust free, there is one dent in the lower rear rear quarter panel under the black stripe ( a dent removal technician maybe able to remove the dent).The undercarriage is 100% solid and extremely clean. All moldings and chrome are in outstanding condition.

The original interior is in pristine overall condition. It still retains the original floor mats.

The white top was replaced about 5 years ago and is in excellent condition. Vehicle has new Front brakes and calipers and rear wheel cylinders. Fuel and coolant systems were flushed and fluidswere changed.

Vehicle runs and drives flawlessly and can be drivenany distance with confidence.All equipment and options work properly with the exception of the air conditioning it needs a charge because its low on freon.

This is an extremely unmolested Cougar that is in pristine overall condition. This is a rare opportunity to own a beautiful original 73 Cougar convertible.
