1969 Mercury Other
Up for sale is a beautifully restored 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ. The VIN is 9H16R534647 which details this car as a Ram Air Cyclone and this is a matching number car.The car also has therare factory argent style steel wheels.I have documented the Cyclone with a Marti Report which shows this vehicle is 1 of 33 with this paint and trim. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2015 including the engine bay being painted while the engine was out. An electric ignition was upgraded which helps start the big 428 on cold days. A new correct 3.50:1 rear end was also installed and the car cruises nicely at 70mph.The body was professionally paintedin 1984 by the 2nd owner and been kept in climate controlled garage until I bought it in 2010 where it remained in a climate controlled garage. As the third owner I have enjoyed this car and taken it to local car shows where it haswon awards for originality. Please see the Marti Report included in this auction for further details on the Cyclone. There are a few items needing attention: the driver's seat has two small tears in it, the stitching in the headliner has come out in a few places, there are scratches on the CYCLONE decal on the left rear quarter, as well as a small touched up spot on the nose of the hood. The chrome and bright work show nicely and would only need to be replaced if this was going to be a full time show car. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL CYCLONE CJ and the car needs to be driven and shown off. The car is located in Elizabethton, TN and I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is forsale locally. There is NO WARRANTY and SOLD AS-IS. I strongly suggest those able to view the car stop by and take it for a test drive - you will not be disappointed!! Buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery. A $500.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due via Pay Pal 24 hours after the close of the auction with the balance to be paid with in 7 calendar days. I will accept cash or a wire transfer only. If Pay Pal is used the buyer will be responsible for all fees which I believe are 3%. This is a great and rare Cyclone that you just don't see anymore. I have described the vehicle to the best of my knowledge, but welcome all questions and inspections for those who want to see it. I can be contacted at 602-327-0574. The Marti Report is a picture off my computer so it could be uploaded to eBay using jpeg. I will provide a PDF version for those who want a clear copy.
Happy Bidding and good luck!!!
