1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

A beautiful 1985 Mercedes 300TDT with an automatic transmission. I've owned this car close to 10 years, the first five of which it was a daily driver. I've taken this car on myriad road trips (Nantucket, Sarasota, Kansas City) and has been my most dependable car ever.

THE GOOD:- the undercarriage is extremely clean. Not a hint of rust.- includes third row seat with belts intact- replaced hatch back struts several years ago- interior wood trim all replaced with new- custom rear springs installed to set ride height and quality on par with sedans- block heater works- new glow plugs- fuel injectors rebuilt and tested- replaced battery a few years ago with a good AGM batter- vacuum pump replaced- fan clutch replaced- all windows except right-rear are working- holds vacuum for months- includes spare blower motor/squirrel cage- includes specialty wrenches for valve adjustments- includes valve gasket for next adjustment- includes Yakima roof rack- rear windshield wiper works
THE NOT SO GOOD:- air conditioning quit six months ago- fuel shutoff valve needs replaced- power steering leaks and needs to be topped off every month- ATF leaks and needs to be topped off every month- windshield washer reservoir removed- rear windshield washer pump doesn't work
