Some cracks in dash.
Still retains it's spot welds and notches at front headlights.No known accidents.
New Hankook Optimo white-wall tires since the photo's were taken, with about 100 miles on them.
Owned the vehicle for the last 11 years, have had 2 other 280SL's, a 300TD Wagon, 450SL, and number of early 911's. This is the nicest of our 280SL's.
The car is a very clean driver. There are minor blemishes in the paint, but nothing significant. Mechanically the vehicle starts immediately, with no smoke, runs very well, and brakes straight. Sadly, we just don't drive the car enough to justify keeping it. It deserves a home where it will be driven and enjoyed. Perfectly presentable condition to drive and enjoy, or great candidate for a restoration.
