Finished in charcoal grey metallic over light grey leather hides, this thirty year-old classic R107-chassis TWO-tops roadster shows just over 105,000 miles on its working six-digit odometer [see Carfax report shown here]. It sorts a good running 5,6 liter V8 engine mated to the factory automatic transmission with stopping power provided by four wheel disc brakes with ABS, Cassette stereo, electric windows, both factory hard top and soft tops, a/c, cruise control, alloy wheels with Michelin tires and Euro headlights,.

THE BODY AND TRIM
This 560SL is in good "driver-quality" condition overall with nice overall luster to the paint finish with original bumpers and trim. Is it PERFECT? Heck no! There are some spots which show repaint, there is an isolated corrosion area where the hood meets the fender on the left corner and there are various scratches, nicks and other blemishes. The hard top is in very good condition, the soft top window is faded and yellowing and is taped on one side. As a bonus though, the new owner will receive a brand new black canvas top.

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this 1987 Benz is in good/presentable, mostly original condition overall. The original carpets, door panels and headliner are still quite nice with all of the dash gauges working well. The stereo works but needs a new antenna for acceptable reception, the hvac is inop, the dash has heat cracks and the driver seat cushion has recently been replaced while the passenger seat shows a bit more original wear. Overall this classic cockpit is still fairly solid and comfortable.

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1987 starts easily with quite good running engine with excellent acceleration, smooth shifting transmission, solid and straight braking with solid clunk/shake-free suspension. This is still one stately top-down cruiser.
