Description:

1972 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series --

European Motor Studio is excited to offer this very original California Blue Plate 1972 Mercedes-Benz 250 Sedan finished in Mercedes White over Blue MB Tex. Sold new at Enyart Motor INC. in Albuquerque New Mexico in May of 1972 and then moved to San Francisco that same year. Being chassis 11401 designates it being a 2.8 liter engine. This lovely Blue Plate California 250 has been well cared for over the years and has been kept in largely original condition. Having seen one repaint in its original shade of Mercedes White, the finish is very nice and shows very well. Minor stone chips in the front nose and lower skirt area are present but do not detract from the overall finish of the paint. The body is in very nice shape free from any signs of prior accident damage. The shut lines are all nice and pretty even all the way around. All of the chrome and trim are in very good condition with minor ageing. The interior is in excellent condition showing incredibly well for its age. The Blue Tex and Blue carpets all appear to be original and look beautiful. The upper dash speaker cover is cracked but the rest of the dash shows very well. The wood is in nice shape with minor age visible. The engine starts right up and idles and runs beautifully. The engine pulls very strong and does not smoke under start up or acceleration. The transmission shifts very well and is free from any heavy clunking or unusual noises. The brakes feel very strong and free from any fade and the suspension and steering are all nice and tight free from any looseness or noises. All of the electronics appear to be operating as designed including all of the exterior and interior lights and the original Becker radio. Accompanied with the sale of this 250 Mercedes are the original books, warranty books, dealer books, original keys, tool kit and spare tire.
