You will be purchasing this vehicle directly from them who are only the third owner. They know the owner history going back to the original ownership. They purchased the vehicle in 2005 from the second owner. These 560SL's were Mercedes Benz's flagship vehicle. They came loaded with all the factory options and toys. This vehicle comes with the original window sticker along will the other factory manuals and pamphlets.

That is why at Classic Cars Online, ur listings will go over and show every area of the vehicle that is up for auction. Body & Paint: The color of the paint is called "Pearl Grey Metallic". (Mercedes paint code: 122) Great looking color for this type of car. It is believed to still retails most of its original paint. The top of the front passenger fender has been re-sprayed. That fender does have a few small rust bubbles forming under the paint in one corner of that fender. (See photo #36). The paint on the car looks very good. It has a deep shine with no fading, hecking, racking or orange peel. There are no scratches, dings or dents. Looking down the sides of the vehicle, ou can see that the car's body is very straight and true.
Soft Top & Removable Hardtop: The dark blue convertible soft top is in excellent condition. There are no rips, oles or marks on the top. The plastic rear window is also in nice condition with no yellowing or fogging. The "Pearl Grey Metallic" removable hardtop is in great shape. The hardtop has an electronically heated rear window. The headliner on the top is clean and looks great. When not on the vehicle, he hardtop is stored in a fitted bag/cover and kept on a rolling vertical rack. This storage rack and hardtop cover will go along with the sale of the vehicle.
Chrome & Trim: The chrome front bumper is in excellent condition. The rear chrome bumper is very nice also, ut has scratches in the top surface. (The original owner was a golfer. He used the rear bumper as a foot rest when he was tying his golf shoes. Yeah, know....) Besides that, he rest of the chrome, tainless steel, nd rubber trim pieces all look very nice. The rubber bumper pieces are great and aren't cracked, plit, r faded. The bumper filler trim piece behind the right rear bumper end is coming off a little. (See photo #26) It doesn't look that hard to repair or press back into place. The headlight bezels and front grille look great without any signs of road rash or stone nicks.
Interior: The vehicle is equipped with blue leather interior. (Mercedes code: 272) It is in nice condition but does show some wear. The driver's seat side bolster area does have a small hole in the leather. (See photo #45) The rest of the interior is clean and in good condition. The storage compartment that is mounted on the driver's door panel is off and is in the trunk. All of the lights, auges, ipers, nstrument panel, nd other electrical items are in working order. The air conditioning works but will need to be recharged. The factory radio was upgraded with a Kenwood AM/FM/CD disk player. The power antenna is also working correctly. Both sun visors have an illuminated vanity mirror.
Engine Compartment: Under the hood sits the original 5.6 liter OHC V8 power plant. This fuel injected engine is bolted to a 4 speed automatic transmission. The engine compartment is very clean and still looks factory stock. The vehicle starts, uns, nd sounds great with no known problems. The owner always has kept up with the correct maintenance and changing of the filters/fluids.
Trunk Compartment: Original looking and in good condition with all the original items. The trunk carpet mat is nice without any stains but does have some wear. It has a spare tire that is mounted on a chrome wheels also. The jack and jacking tools are all in their correct places. The Mercedes tools kit in the original cloth pouch is also there. The battery is installed behind the panel in the trunk as well.
Glass: All of the tinted glass pieces are original. There are no cracks, hips or scratches. Both power windows are all working without any problems.
Wheels & Tires: The vehicle has a set of chrome Mercedes Benz wheels installed. These upgraded chrome wheels are a nice touch in making this vehicle look great. They are in great shape without any major scratches or scrapes. Mounted on these 15" chrome wheels are Michelin Pilot XGT V4 tires, ize P225/60R15 which is a little wider then the stock P205/65R15 tires. These wider tires give the car a more aggressive and better look. All of the tires are in good condition with about 40% of thread left. The vehicle drives straight and doesn't pull, hake or vibrate.
