1990 Mazda RX7 Convertible Mazcare/Charlie Shatzen Outlaw

This is a spectacular car. Charlie has completed 31 builds as of this writing. He is a meticulous craftsman, working on Mazda's for well over 35 years. Originally commissioned in 2007 by a client in Kansas City, Mo, with an LS1 and T56 6 speed transmission. I purchased the car in 2014, when it came available. Charlie’s first call was to me. “You need to buy this car!” The owner had put less than 5k miles on it in 7 years. In 2017, I decided that it needed something else (it went to 10, and I wanted it to go to 11!). We ordered a crate GM Performance LS3 engine, wiring harness, and pcm. Dyno tuned at 425 rwhp/430rwtq. C6 Cold Air Intake, JTR Long Tube Headers, Stainless Steel, Mandrel Bent, Tig Welded dual exhaust that cruises quiet, but rips when you nail it! We used the same transmission with the addition of a McLeod RST/TST dual disc clutch. I sold the T56 shifter and replaced it with a much smoother Hurst 6 spd Shifter. We had a custom Aluminum drive shaft built to connect to the Mustang Cobra Differential with new bearings, gears (327), Porsche Turbo U-joints, and tractionloc limited slip.Turn 6 Power Steering, Custom Strut Tower Brace, Custom Under Brace, KYB adjustable shocks, Racing Beat Springs, Racing Beat Sway Bar, BBS 17” Wheels that are beautiful and light, Momo Suede steering wheel, Cold AC, Mazda Turbo Front Lip Spoiler, Custom Sound System that sounds good with the top up or down.

Oil changes religiously every 3k miles. Chassis has 95181 miles. Engine has less than 17k miles over 6 years (since installed, new, in 2017). Averaging less than 3k miles per year. I only drive the car in good weather when I can get it up to temp for a good run. Receipts and records for original build (2007) to the present. Presented in a 3 ring binder.
