Description:

1967 Lotus Other

I have owned this beautiful Elan for 34 years in which time I've added only 7000 miles to the odometer. It has been kept in my humidity controlled garage with a dust cover.
It has been completely restored with:
Spyderspace frame chassis1700cc engine with original Weber cylinder head and 40DCOE carburetors (very torquey and accelerative!)Aluminumflywheelandbell housingStainless steel exhaust headerAll exterior and interiorchrome trimre-platedLeather rim English Moto-Lita steering wheelProfessionally reupholstered with genuine English Wilton wool carpet in elegant shade of redNew Vredestein Sport tires.
1967 is arguably the most attractive year for the Elan Coupe. It was the lastyear for the Weber head vs. Stromberg head, 3-prong knock offs vs. Nader nuts, oval taillights, classic toggle vs. rocker switches, and the round vs. squared off wheel arches. This is truly an exceptional car.
The Lotus is located on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu. Matson Co. ships thousands of cars every week between Hi and the US Mainland. The cost is approximately $1000. You simply need to call Matson or go totheir web site and make a booking for shipment. The actual voyage takes 4 days, however, allow 3-4 days on each end for loading and unloading of the large ships. The buyer is responsible for making shipping arrangements and paying for shipping. When you make the payment for the shipping and send me a cashiers check for the purchase price, I will sign off and Fedex thetitle to you, and deliver the car to the Honolulu Matson terminal for shipment to the West Coast port of your choice -- Long Beach, Oakland, or Seattle.
