Description:

1981 Lincoln Continental ONE OF A KIND

ONE OF A KIND, VINTAGE LINCOLN CONTINENTAL!! PROTOTYPE! MANUFACTURED IN 1981 (SEE PHOTO) for the new mid-sized car that would be relaeased in 1982. Always garaged with only 47,113 original miles...in nearly mint condition. All leather interior with sheepskin covers in front. Vin Tag shows V6 and NOT FOR SALE, Prototype. We have not found another one anywhere like this. In 1981 Lincoln prototyped this car as a marketing test with the idea to create a competiton for Cadilac's Deville. It is in amazing condition. There is a very small rub on the side of the drivers seat by the seat belt. The air conditioning is too old to charge...EPA changed from R-12 Freon in 1994 to R-134A refrigerant. All old systems need to be retrofitted and this one has not been done. Power everything works...Window, Locks, Mirrors, Seats and even the antenna. Check out the photos and contact me with any questions or to arrange seeing this VINTAGE BEAUTY! It runs GREAT. Price was reduced from $10,800. We are accepting offers.
