INSPECTED AND RUNS.
Lots of fun and history!
This vehicle is not geared to be driven on the highway.
Land Rover, right hand drive, New Canvas top, 2.25 L five bearing petrol engine. Body is in excellent condition, with minimal corrosion or rust. Frame is in fair condition and appears to have been undercoated at one time with little rust considering its age. Doors, foot wells, and bulkhead are showing small signs of rust, and are in very strong condition. Vehicle is fully functional (including electrics and gauges), runs and drives extremely well., and is mostly stock with few aftermarket parts.
This vehicle has minor dings and dents as would be expected from a field vehicle of this make and year.
Oil leaks are common on vehicles of this make and this one is no different. Transmission leaks at transfer case. Oil leaks from gear box to transfer case. Engine front seal, and around oil pan also leaks. These are not critical leaks; however, attention should be paid to them.
In the sense of the Land Rover tradition, this is a strong vehicle (the best 4x4 by far), is easy to maintain (you will get your hands dirty and you should have mechanical abilities!!!), and drives confidently and reliably.
All fluids recently changed.
Weber 34ICH, single barrel carburetor (100 miles ago)
Vehicle is currently having the fuel system cleaned and clutch master cylinder replaced.
Brake shoes and drums are new.
Front driver's side swivel ball and axle assembly was just overhauled.
