1987 Land Rover Defender 110
1987 Land Rover Defender Soft top 110.
We have a clean Army 110; These are considered one of the better 110’s to own due to the very strict maintenance program. By looking around this defender you can see that it’s been looked after the correct way. It starts and drives as it should and all round is a nice example. Engine
2.5L Diesel Non turbo 12J. Starts as it should first time and runs great. Doesn’t smoke or use fluids very healthy engine.
Transmission
5 speed LT77 gearbox with Hi Lo transfer box. Shifts very smoothly without play in the box, Hi/Low works as it should without any whines, clunks etc. Clutch is very smooth.
Axle
Heavy duty Salisbury rear axle (drum) and Heavy duty rear suspension
Suspension
Heavy duty suspension front and rear, drives very nice down the road, nice and tight.
Body
Body and paint is in good condition; it does have some age related marks as to be expected however is very presentable.
Doors/Bulkhead/Frame
The doors are in very good shape and have never been welded and are completely solid without any rust. The bulkhead has never been repaired and is solid throughout. The frame/Chassis is original to the vehicle and has its correct VIN.
Lighting
it has correct Military lighting, everything functions as it should and is in great condition.
Extras
Soft top is removable, can be removed within 20 mins and converts into a nice convertible top!
