1985 Jeep CJ
Great opportunity to own a very reliable and fun vehicle at a bargain price! This Jeep has served my family very well over the years and created a ton of great memories from beach trips to trick or treating to Christmas lights viewing - but it is time to pass it on to another owner as we are moving a far distance from our current location - so my loss is your gain!Mechanically, the Jeep is sound and has been maintained very regularly since I purchased it several years ago. It starts up every single time without issue - even after being out of town for a couple of weeks on summer vacation when my modern leased cars would not start upon returning! She runs well and is a very steady driver whether you're cruising down the beach or on I-95 on the way to the beach: you will feel safe with your family in this vehicle. Below is a list of some of the work and upgrades that have been completed:- Power Steering- Automatic Transmission- New Exhaust (from Cat back)- New Radiator/Thermostat- New Leaf Springs- New Battery- New 35" Tires and 3" Lift with 15" Black Wheels- Rhino-lined Interior and Exterior- New Steel Bumpers- New Steel Black Side Steps- New LED Headlights- New Brake Lights- Fresh Oil Change and WipersFor its age, the Jeep is in fair condition cosmetically overall and has been kept in my garage since I purchased it. Most importantly, there is no rust on the under side of the Jeep (which is common on the CJ models). It comes with a full set of soft doors and windows - the lower part of the doors (black) are shown in one of the pictures of the Jeep in my garage. I haven't touched the paint since I purchased it even though I originally intended to. Depending on the owner, you could easily drive it as-is for years (as I did) without issue, but you could also decide to paint it if you want to have it more perfect.I did my best with the pictures, but please kindly look closely at the pictures as this is a nearly 40 year old antique vehicle. Happy to answer any questions that you have, so please feel free to reach out and ask about anything on the Jeep you're curious about. You won't find a better value in a CJ at this price.
