1988 Jeep Wrangler

This Arizona No rust clean Jeep Wrangler YJ is a classic off-road vehicle with a powerful 4.0L Gas I6 engine and AX15 transmission all from a 1993 Jeep. This Wrangler has been restored and strengthened with modifications with improvements in everyway. Arizona rust free vehicle. It has had two previous owners me being one of them. The exterior color is a vibrant Ferrari Yellow 4305, while the interior features comfortable tan cloth seats and a new spice soft top. Equipped with features such as folding mirrors, trailer hitch, power steering, power brakes and Rubicon alloy wheels, this Wrangler is ready for any trail you want to try. Purpose built to tackle about anything you have the nerve to do, just amazing how capable it is. Both front fenders have been pulled in at front end for turning clearance.

Arizona vehicle and absolutely no rust. The transmission is manual 5 speed and the drive type is 4WD. The engine and transmission work as they should. With a mileage of 92240, this Jeep Wrangler is a reliable vehicle that is perfect for off-road excursions mild to wild. When I got this Jeep about 20 years ago I changed everything. Installed a 2003 Jeep drive train in it. Fuel injected 4.0 engine, Aisin AX15 manual transmission, transfer case, fuel tank with pump in tank, installed hardened axles, lockers front and rear. axles with 488 gears. Detroit in the front, lock right in rear, slip yolk eliminator, 1 ton drive shafts and U-Joints, flat bottom skid plate, Warn differential covers including oil pan and fuel tank. Power steering, brakes, 5 speed manual trans, locking diffs, high clearance and looks amazing still.

Custom built full Chrome moly roll bar built into the Jeep and tied to the floor and across the top of the windshield and very strong.. It has a small block Chevy Aluminum Radiator, with an electric extra large cooling fan. Engine burns no oil, new high volume water pump, transmission shift beautifully, Rear diff is noisy with a 'Lock Rite' locker. Heavy duty 9000 pound winch with nylon new rope, Heavy front and rear bumpers with external mounted spare tire rack that swings out and mounted on rear bumper. I has a body lift of 2 inches, with new Rancho suspension high lift springs and shocks all within the last few years.

Tires are LT 285/75R16 on Rubicon wheels. LED headlights with LED Fog lamps, Tuffy Center Console arm rest storage compartment, Upper Speaker Light bar, Poison Spyder lower rocker guards on both sides, Vented louvered hood center with black wrinkle finish. Hijack mounted on rear of hood. New Spice Soft top, rear bumper spare tire mounting swing system. It was a wet storm vehicle when I got it and now has a resto Arizona title. It was purpose built for the tough Arizona environment and impossible trails and rocks. I have used this vehicle for the last 20 years and it has never let me down. I have bought a 2018 Jeep JL to replace this requested by the wife. I have had this for over 20 years making memories and it has been extremely reliable for me with no expense spared to make it very off road capable.

You can't build one like this for what it's selling for. Thanks for looking and more photos or videos available upon request anytime. Now it is 35 this year, so it's not perfect. Some flaws in body and paint, drives ok on the street. I made it to be about unstoppable on the trail. Locked transfer case, front and rear axles with hardened drive axles, and have lockers. Body lift 2", spring lift 4", Tires are LT 285 75R16" with Rubicon wheels. Tires are 2 yeas old and great. 100% seller. I have receipts for everything for the last 20 years. I forgot more than I put up on here. I was taken off road and get water into the engine, so they wrote it off before I got it. It was the old 4.2 carbureted engine with a Peugeot transmission, OEM junk anyway. About everything, including the interior, exterior, roll bar and drive train has all been renewed, rebuilt or made stronger.
