Selling for a friend. Family is downsizing their fleet and looking to get rid of a very good condition completely unmolested CJ5. Only modifications are a military windshield, agriculture rear hitch, exhaust was redone, and slightly oversized tires on aftermarket steel wheels (31x10.50's). Tires are at 90% and are dated coded from 2011. Has what appears to be an original tire on original wheel for the spare. None of the tires including the spare have any rot on them.
She has always lived in Colorado and has only been owned by two families. Original owner was out of Montana and Jeep was stored at a home in Ouray, CO. Nephew of original owner purchased it from him where it remained in Ouray. Son of current owner purchased it in 2003, vehicle was stored in Denver at that time. Father purchased it in 2010, and it has lived in Silverthorne since then.
Original non functioning cluster was replaced showing 20k original miles. Current fully functional cluster shows 8500 miles. Vehicle is estimated to have around 35k original miles.
Vehicle comes with full soft top and bimini top. Everything works as it should as far as electronics and mechanics go. Not much for service history seeing as the vehicle has very low miles and has always been stored in a climate controlled garage. All the hoses and wiring are in excellent condition however.
I have an auto shop and completed a full inspection and only things worth noting are as follows. There are also pictures of all the following.
Water Pump has slight leak
Front knuckles have slight leak
Transmission is seeping
Idler arm has play
Vehicle is nearly completely rust free, slight bubbling on rear hatch area. Only body damage is on the right front fender.
Jeep runs and drives like new. Price is difficult considering there isn't a whole lot to base it off of. A similar condition CJ5 recently sold on Bring a Trailer for 14,500. We are open to offers.
