1981 Jeep CJ Laredo

1981 triple black, all original 39 year old Jeep CJ-8 Scramblersurvivor.
258 6 cylinder, T5 transmission (5 speed w/overdrive), cold factory installed air conditioning, and Jeep AM/FM/CB radio. Jeep is a beautiful time capsule, no rust, originalpaint and decals, everything works as it should.Tires are essentially new. All gauges work as they should, including clock and tachometer. Radio is an AMC AM/FM/CB radio complete with mic, it works great. Speakers have been upgraded but the dash remains uncut and intact.
Jeep comes with original hardtop, original full steel doors and steel half doors off a Sahara YJ painted to match.
Notes: I swapped in a T5 transmission because I needed an overdrive (I still have the original SR4 transmission if buyer would like this as well). 1981's are narrow-track axles, I have installed spacers front and rear to get it to '82-'86 widths. I have the original front wheel caps, they would need to be notched to work with the front spacers. I also have the original truck style bumper, I installed the bumperettes because I prefer the look. Carpet is a newer kit I installed 2 years ago, I still have the original factory carpet if interested.
I have owned the Jeep since 2015. ODO says ~137K miles. It starts and runs like a dream.
NOTE: eBay AutoCheck states there is a problem with the title, to be clear, there is nothing wrong with the title. Discrepancy listed is related to mileage stated when Jeep was transferred into our family trust in 2017. MVD made an error entering mileage on new title, we just identified the issue, but given the time that has passed MVD will not correct. 175K or 137K, not sure it matters on a 39 year old Jeep that has been towed for most of its life.
