Great restoration project that can be driven now and worked on as you go, it came to me for carburetor work and I was told it sat for many years. I put a Weber Carburetor on it and it runs, idles and drives like you would expect a 1982 Jeep too. The interior was upgraded with new seats and console. It has power steering and while driving i, it appears to be a very tight light Jeep. It has been repainted and possibly semi restored before.The engine runs well and has a tick, however the oil and maintenance required is certainly due, overdue for that matter. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic that shifts very well also, 4WD works . The undercarriage has rust and the frame does need restoratio, same with the body, a body swap could possibly be more suitable.
Paint is not origina, the lights and all the gauges are working. The new owner should be a patient, skilled Jeep person who understands restoration. Anyone can own a Jeep but owning a CJ is a different class of person.
Naturally my preference is to sell it to one who has a true desire for restoration, you can make this Jeep into something special.
