Description:

1964 Jaguar Other

1964 Jaguar 3.8 MK2
This Jaguar MK2 was bought by me in 2000 in order to restore. I drove it half way across Houston and it hasn't driven much since. Although currently not running, it ran fine with no smoke, no issues with shifting, or other major problems. The Master Cylinder was sticking and the carbs needed tuning, but other than that, it ran fine. This is one of many cars I have owned for a long time, but I held onto the Jaguar to restore it. Life happens, and it has sat in the garage for 20+ years.
I bought it from an FBI agent in Katy, TX that was being sent back to DC. He was a Jag enthusiast and had this and an E-Type. I have substantial "files" from him, which amounts to a bunch of old Internet print outs (hey, it was 2000 and the internet was a cool thing back then).
The paint is very old and it has a 1976 Pasadena College sticker on the bumper. I believe it was repainted way back when. There is a small dent in the hood (recent) and the interior is as I bought it, blue vinyl that is in very nice shape. No notable rust areas, but I am sure they are there. The carpets are old and will need to be replaced. Tires are old and not road safe..... Just your basic barn find type status only missing the barn.
Clean TX Title in my name. Mileage shows 69,254, which I believe is correct, but who knows..
I would hate to see such an awesome car get parted out, but all of the parts are there.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions. Jaguar is advertised elsewhere, so auction may end early. Buyer will be responsible for pick up/shipping, but I will do my best to work with whatever method is preferred.
