1970 Jaguar E-Type XKE,The Jaguar E-Type is a British sports car that was manufactured from 1961 through 1975. Its combination of good looks, igh performance and competitive pricing established the marque as an icon of 1960's motoring. On its release, nzo Ferrari called it “The most beautiful car ever made”. The New York City Museum of Modern Art recognized it in 1996 by adding a blue roadster to its permanent design collection, ne of only six autos to receive the distinction. In March 2008, he Daily Telegraph ranked the E-Type one of the “100 most beautiful cars” of all time.

This original roadster is in mint condition with no rust, o electrical issues and it runs beautifully. It is painted in Regency red with a new black leather interior, oft top and boot; and equipped with factory spoke wheels and redline tires. The car sports a 4.2 liter, 65 hp. inline 6 cylinder engine with 283 ft. lbs. of torque. Attached is an iron block aluminum head with 2 overhead camshafts and two, -barrel carburetors; driven by a 4-speed manual transmission. Power steering, ully independent suspension and Dunlop disc brakes add to the ease of its driving experience. Only 3,477 Model 1970 roadsters were sold. This beautiful collector car, ith 38,500 miles, as always been stored inside and was recently detailed to perfection. Prices have been rising rapidly on E-types and this Series 2 is less than one half the price of the earlier Series 1.
