1968 International 1100C Pickup Custom 1-Ton Dual-Wheel 4x4 with Line Ticket & Operator's ManualClean titleBeige truck with light brown interiorOriginal condition with custom modification (described in history section below)This truck was originally sold new in Denver Colorado and the factory line ticket, dated February 14, 1968, is included (very faded): Items on the factory line ticket include (but are not limited to):* 345 V-8 with increased cooling* T-16 transmission* T-141 transfer case* 4.09 axle gear ratio* Power steering* 14 gallon auxiliary gas tankHISTORY:The original owner had a one-ton dual wheel axle installed and outfitted with an 8' Mitchell camper.Galvanized sheet metal was formed to the inside of the wheel wells to accommodate the dual wheels. The tailgate was removed and the the sides of the tailgate body area were trimmed so the camper could slide in.Overdrive was added to the original 4-speed manual transmission.Under-dash air conditioning was also added (not sure it was OEM).Reinforcement plates for the camper stabilzer shocks were bolted to each side of the cowl area. The in dash radio (not OEM) and two surface-mount speakers were added to back of the cab and a speaker in each door. There was a moniter/speaker box mounted under the dash; this was for talking to people in the camper. There was a spare tire mounted on one side of the truck for the front axle and a spare mounted to the other side of the truck for the rear axle. The second owner purchased the truck on March14, 1973.The third/current owner, an International Harvester shop mechanic, purchased the truck July 01, 1976 and maintained it regularly with OEM parts whenever possible. This owner used the truck as a second vehicle until the summer of 2017. It was not driven again until the summer of 2024, when the gas was removed and replaced, the original fuel pump was rebuilt and the starter was replaced. The truck is currently drivable and does not smoke. We have driven it only short distances. A complete inspection and maintenance service is recommended.ADDITIONAL DETAILS:The paint is original and the truck has the wear marks, rust, scratches and dents that are commensurate with age and use. See pictures for detailsThere is a bumper guard mounted on the front of the truck - installed prior to 1976The original operator's manual is includedThe odometer reads just under 25600 miles. To the best of our knowledge it is actually 125,600 milesThere is no tailgate for the truckThere is an altimeter mounted in the center of the dashboard near the windshield which may or may not work. It can be easily removedA non-OEM tachometer was added to the dash at some point, and it works sporadicallyA row of auxiliary switches was added under the dash for fog lights that were mounted on the bumper-guard and are no longer thereThere is a BAJA 1000 emblem that is on the front hood driver side; we believe the original owner placed it there. (it is affixed with double-backed tape and loose, so it will be removed and placed inside the glove box prior to shipping)There are two additional spare tires and rims includedThere is an additional windshield that I believe is for the truck; it will be included if the buyer wants itThe floor boards in the cab are very rusted and all the way through in some spotsThe truck has always been owned in ColoradoSee pictures for details of the actual truck being sold in this listing
