1967 International LoadStar Horse Truck - Toy Hauler

Price: - Item location: Middletown, Connecticut, United States
Description:

1967 International Harvester Other Hauler

1967 International LoadStar horse truck, 345 V8, 5 speed manual with an Eaton 2 speed electric rear end. This truck will need some love to be road worthy again, but it does run and it is a very good starting point. The truck would make a killer RV or toy hauler. It belonged to a hot rod restoration shop and was used to transport show horses around for the owners of the shop. The engine will start right up with a new battery and run off an external fuel tank or starting fluid. It will need the whole fuel system gone through before it could run off its own tank. It will also need all new brake lines and a master cylinder before it could be driven. The exhaust system is in fairly god shape except for the manifolds which leak (the leaks can be heard in the video below). The cab on this truck has very minimal rot, there are some spots that need to be addressed but nothing major.. its very clean for a truck this old. The frame and undercarriage are solid and clean, not rot at all, the box is also solid and clean. The possibilities for this truck are endless, roll back car carrier, it has a GVW or 2400 lbs, so no CDL, or a cross country camper that would be so much cooler than the typical winnebago, or make the bank into a ramp and use it to take ATV's into the woods. Someone who's into old cars and is a little bit creative could do a lot with this old girl. We were going to shorten the frame and put a pickup bed on the back.. unfortunately we're moving our shop and have too many projects to take with us so she's up for auction.

Please feel free to ask as many questions as you can think to ask if you're interested. I would be happy to take more pictures or video of any area you may want to see. If you're local to me, stop by, come see the truck in person. I can be reached at (203) 912-2206, or via message on here. The truck comes with a Connecticut bill of sale only, (vehicles over 25 years old in CT do not have titles, you can verify this on the DMV website ct.gov/dmv)
