Description:

1993 Hummer H1 HMC4

Most sought after body of all the H1s, the civilian limited four door hardtop in black. This is not a military 24v conversion. Real deal civilian. No polished turd either, solid with a nice undercarriage. I am the second owner since new. Garage kept and winterized over each winter. Nice undercarriage. Runs and drives great. 6.2 deisel. 200,000 miles. This was the most reliable vehicle I ever owned. Always started right up. Selling because I moved and do not have garage space for it.

Vehicle Details

This was my daily driver for 20 years. Although it runs and drives great it will need some small stuff. Passenger has tear, see photo. Drivers seat I tried to remove for new seats and cut the two front bolts. I never went further, never installed the new seats so the drivers front seat needs repair or replace since it's only held in with two bolts. Needs one mirror, they are under $20 each shipped. Will need tires replaced soon. Will neeed a few marker light bulbs to be replaced. Needs one wiper. The automatic windows in the front were disconnected when the center console was taken out to do a service and they were never hooked back up, so front windows do not work and will need the wires hooked back up to the toggle switches located in the center console.

And maybe a full service? It's only been 200 miles since last service but that's 200 miles in 4 years.

Air conditioner is original and hasn't worked since I bought it. Not sure what it needs. I never really needed it. The rear windows open and air flows nicely from the front.

Paint. The truck is no polished turd.

It has a couple dings and lots of scratches. It also had few small bubbles in the paint so I scraped them because I think it looks better having some bare metal showing than a bubble in the paint. See photo.

Rear tailgate has a small dent from a forklift loading a crate, see photo. Still opens and closes fine.

The interior, the important stuff like the head liner, center console and door panels are good. The plastic floor mats are stained as well as the plastic mat in between the seats, see photo.

The top padded dash piece was removed once and I lost the ($10) plastic hardware to secure it back. But it doesn't move around.

The last 3' of the exhaust pipe was cut. I still have the 3' piece.

I think that's it. This truck has been great and will be missed.

If you ever wanted the louvered civilian H1, do not miss out.

The new owner will be pleased.
