Description:

1965 GMC 1000

Up for auction is a 1965 GMC LS Swap frame-off restoration that was completed approximately 6 months ago. Every single part of this truck has been either replaced, repaired and/or modified. No short cuts were taken and no expense was spared in putting this truck together. Below is a list of the major modifications completed:
The LS1 motor has been professionally installed and tuned and produces approx 400HP. The engine includes new Hedman ceramic headers, fuel injectors, alternator, Muscle Rod LS Swap motor mount kit, and Low profile oil pan to keep the engine above the frame. Rebuilt 4L60E transmission with new stall converter shift kit, Dakota digital xmsn module. Customized steel driveshaft, 12 bolt GM rear end with 3:73 gears (posi traction), OEM fuel tank behind the seat was removed and installed under the truck bed with a New EFI Aeromotive fuel pump, rollover vent, aluminum fuel tank (fueltanks.com). The filler neck was replumbed through the drivers side rear fender.
The suspension includes RideTech coilover shocks with new upper and lower control arms, power steering, front and rear Wilwood 12' slotted disc brakes, all new brake lines, dual 8-inch Master cylinder, 5 lug conversion with all new wheels and tires. Rear suspension is stock.
Interior includes TMI camel leather seats with center console, new carpet and soundproofing, Dakota Digital dash, Over 2K spent on retro Bluetooth stereo, speakers and Kenwood Pro Clip, USB charger. New front and rear glass with new rubber seals. The truck Bed is aluminum and has been Line X'd. All interior and exterior lighting is new.
Approximately 40% of the body has been replaced with new parts. There are a few scratches and dings on the truck. I have provided the pictures near the tailgate where the chains rest. Also, there is some surface rust right below the seal on the rear window which can be seen in one of the photos.
This truck was designed to be a daily driver and drives smooth and straight. It is a blast to drive. Its a head-turner and there isn't a day that goes by when I drive it that folks want to stop and chat or take photos. You don't see many trucks like this out and about. Email if you got questions.
