1991 GMC Vandura

When I purchased this guy it hadn't been running and the interior looked awful. I got the van running, put about 6k into it at a shop and about 8k into the interior. Transmission shifts incredibly smooth (4 spd)

Currently 121,860 Miles

I loved this thing, it's just time to get rid of it since I'm not traveling as much anymore. I won't be able to list everything that this van has to offer, just the highlights.

UPKEEP DETAILS/ UNDER THE HOOD

- Oil changed every 5000

- Brand new Drive Shaft/Rear end All new rear brake components as of 113,000

-Re-did all of the steering components when I purchased it at 98,000 (idler arm, pitman arm, alignment etc) This thing steers like a dream

-Put 6k into at a shop when I bought it, things like tranny flush, gaskets, belts, plugs etc

THINGS THAT DON'T WORK.

-A/C Does not blow cold. All it needs is an upgrade to the new Freon system. (about $600 is what I was quoted, but i never did it)

-Both of the Window motors are starting to go. about $120 in parts/ Easy job.

-Horn doesn't work, never did.

INTERIOR:

-Fully custom interior, multiple storage spaces/drawers. Easy to clean Pergo flooring. Power Locks on the front two doors and side doors, they work great.

-Fully insulated, this thing keeps heat very well in the winter months.

-Goal Zero Yeti 1450 WITH an Extra 190 amphr battery (essentially doubles the capacity of the goal zero), this thing works like a champ and is what powers the 2 110v outlets in the van for easy charging of anything and also the fridge.

-Overhead lighting, these lights are a nice color and controlled via the battery by a switch above the drivers seat.

-Sink, with industrial foot-pump and 6GAL water tank. The footpump is awesome. It's very easy to control how much water you want to get out of it.

-Dometic 38L fridge. The Fridge fits perfectly inside the drawer cluster on a slide out bed. The drawer slides broke so I just took it out. The holes are drilled you'd just have to replace the drawer slides. This fridge is awesome and works perfectly off of the Goal Zero. It's awesome not having to worry about getting ice all the time.

- HUGE 6ft slide out drawer. This drawer is one of the best parts of the van, built with huge heavy duty drawer slides (IIRC they cost around $300) this thing can hold a massive amount of weight. I've tossed probably around 3-400 LBS of tools, climbing gear and everything we could stuff in there and it still slides very very nicely. There is also a ton of storage next to the drawer (see pics)

-Surround sound speaker system. That's right, I took out the stock Radio deck and installed a home theater surround sound system that runs off of the Goal Zero. It sounds great, and is awesome for hanging around camp and driving.

-CB Radio. The CB Radio works and is hooked up to a speaker on the roof between the two seats, only thing is it needs an antenna which I never got around to buying or installing. So all you'd need is an antenna.

-All the rear windows have RV blinds and Tint.

EXTERIOR:

-Front tow hitch, I used this for a Moto Rack and it held my KTM 500 for thousands and thousands of miles.

-2 90w Goal Zero Solar panels with the option to add more. I had a ski box on the empty side of the rack that had two more flexible panels on it. It is currently wired parallel with the mpc4 (or something) connectors so adding more panels would take no more than 30 seconds.

-Full size spare w/ trasharoo trashcan. DOES NOT include Road Shower (not mine)
