1987 GMC Sierra Classic 4x4

1987 GMC Sierra 1500

This is an excellent classic 4x4 pickup that's been well cared for and recently had over $3,000 of repairs completed. The owner is a young lady who's a combat medic/Army Ranger and has recently been deployed overseas and doesn't want to put the truck in storage. It's been her baby for several years but now it's time for someone else to enjoy it.
It has new tie rod ends, steering gear, drag link and new Interstate battery. Valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, thermostat & transmission pan gasket have all been replaced within the last year.Tires are in excellent condition and have about 80-90% tread on them. The engine is strong & transmission & transfer case work great.
The body is very straight and has no rust. It has been painted and the paint job is fine for a daily driver, but does have a few runs. You don't see them unless your looking for them.
The headliner needs to be replaced & interior needs a fair amount of work. The dash pad is cracked & needs replacing. The door panels are OK, the seats are faded and have a small tear at the seam on the drivers side. Again, for a daily driver the seats, carpet & door panels are likely fine. It has dual fuel tanks, but doesn't run when switched to the left tank. Suspect the pump on the left tank is bad.
This would be a great truck for a restoration and wouldn't take a lot to get it in top notch condition. These are getting harder to find and the values keep going up. Here's your chance to own a true classic for a very reasonable price.
