Description:

1978 GMC Jimmy High siearra

I am selling my 1978 GMC Jimmy High Sierra. It is a really solid, and highly optioned vehicle. I believe I am the 3rd owner and the Jimmy has 78k original miles on the original 350 motor. It has auto trans, 4wd, power windows and locks that work, tilt steering with good solid column, cruise control that tries to work, factory tachometer that works, all lights and gauges work, horn works, has A/C that is complete but not blowing cold, original 4bbl carb with working choke, dual exhaust, original paint, factory spid in glove box, original owners manual, sliding rear side windows, roof rack, bfg spare tire in original rack, tow hitch with lights, buckets seats with good solid console, original upholstery, rear seat is very nice and folds down, door panels are a little dry but all intact and usable. 31” tires with lots of tread. Very little rust, nothing structural or on frame, the floors are solid and the only rust is pictured on the door and rocker panel. The Jimmy runs and drives great daily, it’s a solid original truck that is uncut or altered. I don’t think the top has ever been off of it. The paint is not perfect but has good patina and it is straight enough it could easily be restored. The doors open and close nice and tight. The body does have a few dings, all the trim is intact, chrome is nice. It has the following newly replaced maintenance items installed, battery, alternator, brakes, master cylinder and power brake booster, windshield wiper and switch, some weatherstripping around windows, air and fuel filter. It still needs a couple wheel lug bolts replaced. This is a fun classic driver. Title is clear and tag is current.

This is the gmc version of a Chevy k5 blazer.
