1991 Geo Metro with a $3000 Wilderness EV 72 voltelectric conversion installedand $600 in Wal Mart MAXX29 batteries. Car has two on board chargers. One for the 72 volt drive system and one for the 12 volt accessory system. Volt meter and amp meter installed to monitor 72 volt drive system. Battery box is equipped with an exhaust fan to expel charging gases to the outside of the car. Horn, turn signals, wipers, speedometer,headlights, backup lights and parking lights all work. Front disc brakes and car battery have been recently replaced. Tires are all good including the spare.This vehicle has been in continuous operation for five years and since electric motors don't wear out it should be good for many years to come. The driving range is 20 miles on a full charge with a top speed of 55MPH and a cruising speed of 45MPH. It is very responsive in trafficand is the ideal vehicle for short trips to the store and running errands.I am retired so the car is available for test drives at almost anytime with a short notice.
