Description:

1970 Ford F-250

1970 F250 2 wheel drive pickup, ¾ ton, ellow exterior with black vinyl seats, 60 V8 motor, speed manual transmission. I don’t know the odometer, ecause the plastic on front of the instrument panel has darkened over the years and I can’t read the odometer. Wheels are straight and fairly new. Tires are fine. There is a spare tire and wheel. There is also a spare hood and tailgate (both in good condition).

This vehicle starts, uns and drives good. I used it for many years to haul my firewood out of the mountains and was confident doing that, ll by myself, uite far up into the mountains. That shows that I was and am confident that this vehicle is sound. I have quit burning wood now and have no real use for this pickup.

The engine, ransmission, rive line, heels and tires are good. The body is good except for the right side of the box which is slightly dented, he tailgate which is slightly dented but still opens and closes and latches just fine, nd one small dent on the right side of the hood. There is no significant rust that I know of, nly light surface patina in places. Look at the pictures. Glass is good except for a cracked windshield. The crack is by the hood and doesn’t interfere with my view. The steering column was replaced sometime but is the right one for this truck. Seat is badly worn but I covered it with a blanket and it works fine for me. Driver’s armrest is in poor shape. Turn signals and horn don’t work, ut I didn’t bother troubleshooting.

This is a great wood hauler. It runs great and drives just fine. There is no rust. You can jump in it and use it for that right now. If you want to restore a pickup to showroom condition, his would be a good vehicle to start with.
