Up for auction is my 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible. I purchased the car approx 6 years ago and have barely put 500 miles on since purchasing it. Getting older and need a car I can take the Grandkids in - cant put a car seat in this one!
The car was completely restored about 15 years ago. Car is Thunderbird blue (aqua) with matching blue and white interior. Has both a white soft top as well as the hardtop in matching blue. Car has 83,851 miles on it. Automatic transmission with manual steering and brakes and a power seat. Engine is a 292 CID V8 with dress up kit. Car has been converted to a 12 volt system.Car has a new battery, adiator, ear wheel cylinders, nd gas tank.
Car will also come with owners manual, hop manual
This is NOT a "frame off restoration - 100 point show car". It's a beautiful car that any collector or novice can enjoy and drive. As with any old car it has minor chips and imperfections but nothing that takes away from its overall "wow" you get when driving down the road!. The car runs and drives great and is a blast to ride around and attend cruise nights with.
The car will come with the flat hubcaps as well as the rare wire wheel hubcaps, enters and clips. Also included will be a brand new exhaust system which I purchased but haven't had time to install as well as a new door hinge kit and antenna.
Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Keep in mind that the car is 60 years old and does not come with any warranties. Car is being sold "as is" with no warranty.
Buyer is responsible for pickup/delivery of vehicle. Buyer must pay a $1000 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end and the remaining balance will be due in cash/ bank check 5 days of auction close. Payment must clear before car is picked up. Buyer is responsible for pick up. Car is located in Marlboro, ew Jersey.
