Description:

1929 Ford Model A

We purchased this 1929 Ford Tudor Street Rod from its original owner through eBay in 2004. Most of the major upgrades were done by the previous owner and were concluded in 1989. Since then the car has been rarely driven and carefully maintained. I will provide as much detail about the cars upgrades and history as I can below, but as to the nature of hot rods/street rods I can't include everything here. Please reach out to us at our email kinokidstoo@msn.com for any and all questions you may have. We can also tell you more about the building and history of the car. The car has 4 wheel independent suspension with disc brakes, the front being Mustang 2 with tubular A-arms and KYB gas shocks and in the rear is a chrome, 77 C3 Corvette suspension with Monroe air shocks. The engine and transmission are 350 Chevy which were overhauled approximately 12,000 miles ago. The engine was bored to .040". A mild crane cam, Holly "Double Pumper" carburetor, polished intake, timing chain cover and valve covers, and point less ignition were all installed. The Henry Ford all steel original body with top chopped 4", door handles removed, radiator modified, splash pan removed, dual beam headlights, and Rock Guard on all fenders. All mentioned was installed on a Chassis Engineering frame that was electro painted with light specks. The car is equipped with power windows, power doors (with remote openers), a T-bird 10 CD stereo, Honda front seats, wrap around rear seat, and S.W. gauges. Underneath the car: 2 custom made polished fuel tanks (each 7 gallon), a Lokar floor shifter, B and M chromed, extra deep trans pan with shift kit. Also under is the stainless fuel and brake lines, floor boards, and exhaust system. Also under is the fully chromed C3 differential running 3.08 gears with posi. For added safety and comfort rigid insulation is installed on firewall and under front seats. Approximately 85% of the undercarriage is chrome or stainless steel.Since 2004 when we bought the car we upgrades the brakes with dual Corvette M.C., replaced all the rubber bushings in the suspension, installed dual drive belts on water pump and alternator, rebuilt steering column and steering U-joints, and installed a new Holly Double Pumper carb approximately 4000 miles ago. The steering work was done by Mild to Wild Hot Rod's and the steering column over haul was done by East Mountain Steering. Scott's Corvette rebuilt the C3 rear end. All this was done 5 to 10 years ago. All fluids and filters (except transmission) were changed in October or 2023.All routine maintenance and upgrades were done by owner. There is some minor road rash around underside of the car. The original A/C and A/C dyer were removed for aesthetic reasons but the rest of the A/C components are installed. One window motor is not responding and there is some light wear apparent in the interior. We have had a professional appraisal done on the car which claims it to be in overall great condition. Please reach out to kinokidstoo@msn.com and we can answer questions, provide specific photos, and send you a copy of the appraisal if your interested. Pick up, licensing, and title fees will be responsibility of buyer. Car is located in Albuquerque NM. Cash, check, and money order are all accepted.
