This is the garage find that you have been waiting for! It has sat indoors for 25 years since the title was last transfered in 1998. As the pictures tell, this is an extraordinary clean 1969 Torino 428 Cobra Jet double R code. Built in San Jose California it must have spent the majority of its life in dry climate. As you can see there is no rust or rot in any of the usual places. The frame rails, torque boxes, trunk, shock towers, inner fenders wells, and floors are all rust free! All the windows are chip free. All the trim will polish up nicely. You can see in the pictures the body has had some repairs done probably in the 80’s and will all need straightened, but you know from looking at those rocker panel pictures, this could be the cleanest one in the country. This was a loaded up car. The power steering and power brakes made it easy to drive while the air conditioning and tachometer made it pleasure to pound the pavement. The motor and transmission were gone before I found it. The rims and tires are off another car and not included in the sale. The original styled steel GT rims and center caps will be as seen in the pictures. I will assist in loading if needed. Serious bidders only.
