Description:

1972 Ford F-250 Ranger

This pick up was purchased new in Lewiston Idaho and has remained in the same family the whole time. The miles on the vehicle at the time of posting is 36,856 these are the true original miles to the vehicle. We acquired the truck from the original owners grandson. The original owner passed away in 1987 and the truck remained with the widow. The grandson would use the truck to help his grandmother out doing things like yard work, hauling off the trash and odds and ends around the house for her. The truck was always parked under a carport or in the shop.Since 1987 the truck has only had 4000 miles put on it. The floor in the bed has surface rust from the grass clippings being left in it overtime. There is no rot in this truck and is very straight and rust free pickup surface rust only in the bed.In the pictures you will see that we have all the documentation from the owners manual to the protective plate. There is a warranty registration notice from Lou Bell Motors that is dated June 9 1972.The build sheet was found underneath the seat and was laminated. The vehicle is equipped with hanging in dealer installed air conditioning and comes with the paperwork on how to operate it. The Air conditioning is all there and is functional. The vehicle is only had one set of new tires put on it and the grandson believes they are 20+ years old. The original tires and wheels were split rims and the tire shop would not install tires on the old split rims. The grandson informed us that is why it has the white spoke wheels on it.
This truck was purchased to be use as they had a camper that they haul in the bed and was used for the chores around the house. There’s two small dings in truck. One in the tailgate and one in driver side bed. The truck had saddle gas tanks put in and the grandson informed us that he is never put fuel in them so I believe that they are non-functional at this moment. The truck has been parked for the past 11 years in a storage shed.
This is a very straight truck with no rust and has all the original paint on it. The truck has never been in a wreck and is in very great shape for the year. There is a few things that will need to be replaced. It is missing a marker light on the passenger side bed the rearview mirror is bad and there is a hole in the speaker grill in the dash. The horn Is bad and the turn signal doesn’t cancel on the right. The original owner took off the factory mirrors and installed some aftermarket ones that helped him see around his camper better.
These are becoming a harder truck to find especially in this type of condition with all original paint(True survivor)
