What’s the best way to start the ultimate fox body project? Start with a 99% rust free, southern Virginia body, not botched up by amateurs or twisted by drag launches- just an honest, unmodified LX hatchback. No sunroof. I was going to build this, but plans have changed- we are buying a new home.The car started life as a code “UA” black on black 4 cylinder. Has older respray that is toast. The drivetrain was removed with care taken to retain all factory harness etc. this was just done 2 months ago. It is believed to be original 63k mi. Evidence from the title, odometer, seat / pedal wear. The only rust i have found is few bubbles on hatch and surface rust in spare tire area. Rocker boxes, floors, strut towers, door, rockers .. all rust free as you can see in the pics. All panels wear the factory VIN labels, all original Carlite glass including windshield!!!. Also, doors all open and close nicely, no sagging door hinge pins etc.I have 20 or more underbody pics on request.
