Description:

1970 Ford Torino Torino

1970 Ford Torino Six Passenger Wagon-No Rust-No Rot Ever-Factory Air Cond.I am re-listing our 1970 Ford Torino Six Passenger Wagon. This vehicle sold a few months ago here, the buyers arrived, and they were very happy withthe Torino, but after seeing my wife's 1966 Fairlane Squire. After much talk, and negotiating, my wife decided to sell these wonderful folks the 66' Fairlane Squire. Once again I will offer the incredibly original 1970 Torino wagon for sale! I can guarantee you this is the best deal anywhere on a classic station wagon that's a NO RUST EVER drive ANYWHERE classic!
This is one of the nicest 1970/71 Torino wagons on the planet. This vehicle has been garaged its entire life, and to be truthful It's become difficult to find ANY classic or vintage car, truck, hot rods, muscle cars, wagons, that are well preserved originals. The vast majority out there for sale are rust buckets or filled with body filler to hide all the crappy stuff. Rusty classic cars is a huge pet peeve of mine, I just don't buy, nor have I ever bought any vehicle that had signs of rust, rot, body filler, or any hack jobs lol, and sadly buyers have to shop with care because the number of of people selling junk out there has escalated into the stratosphere! I'm not speaking of surface rust, faded paint, or the wear caused by Mother Nature, (patina is it?), I'm speaking of holes the sizes of small cars! My apologies for climbing the soap box, buyers must really shop with care! So, pleaselet me say this before going on....If this wagon isn't exactly as I say it is here in this listing, I will not hold buyer responsible to buy the vehicle and I will refund 100% of your deposit! The car retains most of its original Morning Gold Finish and most of the Ginger interior trim except the dash pad & the carpet. The dash pad was replaced with one of those molded harder plastic type that required dye to change the color, and the carpet has been replaced recently, I think there is an invoice from 2013 in the stacks of invoices that's been kept with the vehicle so it's easy to see how many thousands of $$ have been spent on this wagon. I included a photo of the original build sheet found under the rear seat spring.Options IncludeFactory ACPower SteeringPower Disc BrakesTinted Glass (still has all original FoMoCo except the windshield)351 Cleveland Two bbl EngineAutomatic TransmissionTwo Way TailgatePower Tailgate Window works as it should with the key at the back or the power switch on the dash. For those who are not familiar with the 351 Cleveland they were bulletproof and all of them run so smoothly.I have said this two times about this car....someone is going to be so pleasantly surprised when they get behind the wheel of this Torino Wagon, it's very cool, it's different, it stands apart from the sea of GM wagons, and I love all of them, but the Ford powertrain was so far ahead in 1969-1971, these engines and trans are much smoother than the Generals lower cost wagons with 235s and powerglide, these were inexpensive well refined when new, and as soon as one hits the scene at SEMA and hits the cover of all the rags, I will wish I'd kept it, you will wish you bought it 😆...In closing Im always in disbelief of the number of car folks that didn't even know Ford made Torino wagons in 70-71.Thanks call if you have any questions or emailThanks for looking!
This car is by far the nicest anywhere for the money, it is a bargain for such a small investment, a classic car you can actually jump in and drive cross country....or Anywhere....she runs and drives wonderfully. Also has ample power and still gets good fuel mileage due to its Factory 2:78 differential gear. Again, I do want to sell the Torino wagon,Any questions please email or call me at 470-446-4248.Thanks for looking.
