1967 Ford Mustang --
Want to look cool and have a blast at the same time? Check out this 1967 Mustang that has both curb appeal and some really neat features. Early Mustang coupes are still one of the best and cheapest ways to enter the classic car hobby. They offer a timeless look and styling, while still providing good performance all in a comfortable ride. As far as the style goes, it's a classic Mustang, in gloss black, rolling on... 17s. That's a lot of style! Up front, the pencil thin bumper shines like new under the blacked-out grill with the galloping Pony flanked by fog lights and trimmed in chrome piping. The light really catches the black paint along the body lines at the top edge of the fenders and moves across the hood and side of the car as it drives down the boulevard. A triple red stripe between the wheel wells captures the GTA emblem on the front fender just above polished rocker trim. The rear of the car is a beautiful sight too with the iconic triple brake lights trimmed in chrome on either side of a Mustang gas cap. Quad exhaust tips peek out from underneath another thin chrome rear bumper for a great look. Black and chrome is the theme of the inside of the car too. A simple black door panel contrasts with the rocker trim and polished kick plate. Bucket seats have pleated centers and smooth vinyl surround with exposed supports for the seat back polished up nicely. A three spoke deep dish wheel has a Mustang center cap and behind it the dash cluster is trimmed in chrome with the speedo on the left, alternator and oil pressure gauges on the right, and fuel and water temp above them in the corners. On the far left are the ventilation controls that include those for the factory A/C along with one vent. Another matches it on the passenger side and there are two more in the center. Auxiliary gauges for oil, water, and voltage are mounted under the dash in front of the T-handle shifter for the transmission mounted in the floor. Under the hood you will find a strong running 289 nestled snuggly down in the engine bay. The motor is mostly stock but has a chrome air topper sitting on a QFT 4-barrel carb. The factory A/C compressor sits proudly off to the side and polished, ribbed, valve covers help cool the oil a bit and look good while doing it. The power is sent back through a C4 automatic trans to the back wheels mounted on leaf springs. Front disc brakes give you confidence that you can haul this car down in a hurry at need and a beefy front sway bar is there to flatten out the curves so you don't have to. All four tires are 245/45ZR17s and are mounted on those great looking Crager wheels. Style, speed, and comfort. Come on down and check this car out. You might decide that it's your kind of style.
