Description:

1973 Ford Mustang

Offered is a1973 Ford Mustang Convertible - 351 Cleveland H Code - AUTO A/C - RARE GLOW BLUE
A fantastic convertible Mustang! I purchased this Mustang three years ago from the original owner due to its extreme originality and it has always been a southern car with no rust. The paint was tired so I had it painted. The paint and body is very straight and no rust including floor pans and trunk!
Only 1,267 Mustangs in 1973 were painted Glow Blue. It is a great color which is even better in person than the photos show. It does have the very cool Ram Air hood (or NACA hood). From my research the NACA hood was an option across the Mustang line in 1973. The hood really adds to the overall stance and appearance.
New Items:
-- New Paint - Original Glow Blue color - body was completely stripped for the repaint PLUS new emblems, trim & seals
-- New Radiator
-- New Brakes
-- New Tires
-- New Hedman Hedders with Manaflow mufflers, new pipes and chrome tips - SOUNDS GREAT!!!
Original Items:
-- Seats - condition good - one worn spot on drivers side bolster where you get in and out of the car.
-- Door panels and rear side panels - condition fair to good - the rear side panels are flaking from age.
-- Carpet - condition good.
-- Dash - condition very good - no cracks.
-- Convertible top - WORKS GREAT - does have the glass back window. I am going to say the top is original, it is in very good condition overall, I can not tell that it has been replaced.
-- A/C does work. It was recharged and cold last summer but it now needs a charge. All A/C components are in place.
-- Electric Fuel Pump - was added before I purchased the car. It is working nicely
-- Magnum wheels - fair to good condition showing age on the chrome from the car sitting many years. I believe these wheels were put on the car many years ago.
Mechanically this Mustang starts nice, drives nice and sounds great! The convertible top works great using the dash switch. All lights, signals, buzzer and horn are working. The original AM radio was replaced with a modern AM/FM/TRUNK-CD unit and it works great.
