Description:

1929 Ford Model A

This is a 1980 Shay reproduction Model A with a small block Ford in it. It sounds nice. I could message you a video. I couldn't load a video from my phone to computer, for some reason. The motor holds 50 lbs. oil pressure at idle. It has front independent suspension, front disc brakes, and rack and pinion steering. It has real knock off wheels, and a mallet is included. The interior seats, side panels and top are in nice condition. The doors and deck lid had some insignias sanded off. It looks like patina, so you could patina the rest of the car. Or paint the doors and deck lid. It's not a hard color to match. All the lights work, horn works, speedometer works. I didn't receive the wipers or side curtains with it. The tach, oil pressure, and water temp gauges work. Because it's a Shay, it has heaters under both seats, I don't know if they work. It's also got a radio, with a speaker under the dash, and two under the seat. I tried to turn it on, but got nothing. It's one of those radios with too many buttons, so I don't know if I did it right. The front headlights and bar are good. There is some rust on the luggage rack and taillights. I haven't tried any Noxon on them yet. The windshield and top are a chopped set up, but Speedway Motors sells the posts, windshield, and top bows in the stock height.
I'm 6'5, not thin, and fit in it ok, with the seat cushions removed. (see two last pics ) If you're that tall, I would just put bomber seats in it or just make a thin seat with plywood and a Mexican blanket. Also if I were to put it on the road, (I will, if it doesn't sell) I would move the shifter over. It's a cable shifter so that's not a big deal. If you're not as big as me, none of that, probably would be a problem for you.

The car was used as a promotional vehicle, for a very high end shop, in Easthampton NY. I added two pictures of that.
