This flawless iconic 1940 Ford Pickup truck is a complete original restoration coming out of a private collection. The 1940 Ford has always been rare and a highly desirable automobile. This complete nut bolt body off masterpiece including NOS body components, accessories and trim has undergone a five year restoration with every detail to perfection. The all steel original body has been gapped and finished to a perfect fit. The stunning restored interior includes all instruments, steering wheel and the upholstery to an unbelieveable finish. The dash is impecable. Factory fitted glass includes Ford identification etched in all original locations. The chrome and brightwork is perfect. Under the hood sits, the V8 flat head motor that has undergone a complete top to bottom rebuild, including all factory correct specifications, finish and components. The motor runs perfect. Its complete rebuilt and smooth shifting 3 speed gear box is effortless to drive. Everything operates and functions as brand new, including the horn. The highly detailed undercarriage has had every component restored or replaced from factory correct hard lines down to each fastener. All 6 volt cloth wiring and components are factory correct to 1940 specifications including details such as compression springs and safety wiring in original locations.
This highly desirable paint scheme is a perfect stock blend representing appropriate colors for this 1940 Ford. All jambs, inner door panels, rear box and under hood are finished and flawless.
