1932 Ford Highboy Roadster

This 1932 Ford Highboy roadster was not only built with an eye for aesthetics and a hunger for power, but it's also equipped with some great options that dramatically improve its real-world drivability, making it a truly inspired "ride for all seasons". It's logged just under 100 miles since its build - just enough to test the outstanding work that went into making it the great looking and well-appointed street machine it is today.
You'll notice right away that the exterior color, known as Washington blue, really makes this Ford stand out. It's a nice departure from the "brighter is better" logic you often see when it comes time to choose a hue for a vintage car, and it's a deep shade that seems to add quality to everything it touches. Step a little closer and you'll see that it's also been applied exceedingly well - no waviness or orange peel to be found here. The array of chrome that's on display in the form of its headlight casings, windshield frame, side mirrors and the cylindrical front and rear bumpers is also in optimal condition. Being this fresh off of an extensive rebuild certainly has its advantages. Up front, the open sides of the engine compartment reveal the V8 power that's on display, but should you desire a more finished look, a pair of side covers come with the car and install quickly. Topping the list of welcome options that make this roadster a versatile ride you can enjoy in a variety of weather conditions is a gray canvas convertible top that's in great shape and attaches firmly in place to protect you and your passenger from the elements.
There no shortage of impressive attractions featured inside the doors. A pair of very comfortable two- tone bucket seats sit front and center, sporting a color scheme that ably incorporates the styling cues of the exterior, flanked by matching door panels and with a convenient cupholder sitting nearby. As you take your position behind the woodgrain steering wheel that's mounted on a chrome, tilting Ididit column, you can't help but be impressed by the dash area - an expanse of shiny blue steel that holds a full set of Autometer gauges, as well as a pair of ventilation registers that bring the cooled air produced by the Vintage Air climate control system into the cabin to keep everyone comfortable. A Kenwood AM/FM stereo with USB and iPod connectivity stands ready to provide the soundtrack for your journeys. Clearly, the builder of this vintage classic intended his or her work to be driven and not just admired while standing still. The storage area in back is lined with plush gray carpeting, with a covered full size spare sitting in place, just in case an unforeseen road hazard puts a temporary dent in your plans.
That powerplant on display through the sides of the engine compartment is a 350-cubic inch V8 that's paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission to make for a strong performing but dependable drivetrain. Combine the fresh motor with suspension and steering components that have yet to see any appreciable wear and you have yourself a veritable attention magnet that runs and drives just as great as it looks. This very sharp and very well configured vintage drop top sits on a set of 15" Billet Specialties wheels outfitted with BF Goodrich T/A radials that include a pair of road gripping 285s in back.
This 1932 Ford Highboy roadster is not only a pleasure to behold, but an absolute blast to take on the road. Call today!
