PROJECT

Up for auction is an original 1970 "G" Code Boss 302 Mustang body.
The original color was Calypso Coral, which is gorgeous when finished.
This Mustang can be restored into an awesome Classic.
Although the engine does not come with the car, we have Boss 302 engines available separately with code dates that would harmonize with the build date of January 26, 1970 for this car. We also have 4 Speed Toploader transmissions available as well.
This Mustang would be worth at least $60,000 to $85,000 when fully restored. ..
BODY:
This Mustang will need some body repair, particularly on the passenger quarter, but the frame is actually Ok, and the driver's quarter is in good condition. We have a full passenger quarter available separately if you think you will need one. Obviously you will need to do the floors, but if you have body repair skills, this is a project worthy of your best effort. We should have a better passenger side door to replace the dented door in the pictures.
We also have original 1970 fenders, but you will need to roll the edges to make them acceptable for a Boss 302.
INTERIOR:
The interior should be brought back to excellence. The good news is that you can see what is needed. You aren't accepting someone else's mistakes or bad repairs. The instrument panel is in good condition, just dirty, but you will want a new dash pad. The seats will need recovering, but new covers are available to make the job much less costly. You will also need new door panels, carpet, etc.
ENGINE BAY:
Engine bay is in great condition, and just needs to be cleaned and painted, and of course the shock towers have their wrap arounds because this is a real Boss 302.
GLASS:
Windshield is cracked but the door glass and the 1/4 side glass is all there
OPTIONS
Please see attached Marti report attached to see how the car was optioned. We have Sport Deck fold down rear seats if you need one, and the car has its original Traction-Lok rear end.
MISC.
The car is definitely a project but we can help where you need our help. We can sell you any of the items you may need, like new seat covers, new carpet Etc. Please ask any questions, we know someone will receive a great project and ultimately a great Classic Boss 302 Mustang.
The Mustang has a clear title. We will supply you with the documents you will need to get the car licensed in your state.
Please bid with confidence.
